Dr Catherine Jones is Director of the Wales Autism Research Centre (WARC) at Cardiff University and a Reader in the School of Psychology. She leads a multidisciplinary team of autistic and non-autistic researchers dedicated to high-quality, community-informed research that improves the lives of autistic people and those who support them. WARC’s work is shaped by autistic priorities and co-produced with the autistic community at every stage. The Centre collaborates closely with the Welsh Government, the NHS, and national and international partners to deliver real-world impact. Catherine’s research focuses on inclusive sensory environments, supporting neurodivergent children in education, and improving support for autistic and ADHD individuals experiencing eating disorders.
