Dr F.V. Lanny Hartanti is passionate about creating a higher education environment where every student and staff member, regardless of ability, can belong and thrive. As Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Alumni, Innovation, and Business at Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya (UKWMS), she has been at the forefront of the university’s journey towards becoming a disability-inclusive campus. Her advocacy began as a small initiative and grew into the establishment of the UKWMS Disability Support Unit, which she founded and led until August 2025. Working with partners such as the National Commission on Disabilities, Kedaibilitas, and Autism Awareness Indonesia, Dr Hartanti has helped develop inclusive pathways, staff training, and student support. With over 20 years of academic and leadership experience, she believes inclusion is not only about access, it is about culture of empathy, collaboration and empowerment in every corner of the campus.
